Crunchy Granola Recipe

 

Homemade granola is the best! Feel free to use your own favourite nuts, instead of peanuts.

Ingredients:

100g quick cooking oats

50g toasted, unsalted peanuts

25g shredded coconut

75ml rice malt syrup or honey

2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

35g ground flaxseeds

30g dried cranberries

2 Tbsp sliced almonds

2 Tbsp raw cacao powder

1 Tbsp chia seeds

Pinch of salt

 

Method:

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Make sure everything is coated with the syrup and coconut oil. Spread the mix evenly on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Stir the mixture 10 minutes into baking.

Remove from oven and allow it to cool down completely before storing it in an airtight container. Keeps for up to 2 months.
